Joel is a professor at Borough of Manhattan Community College and Housatonic Community College where he teaches theatre and public speaking. Previously, he's taught young people through the Orlando Shakespeare Festival (Acting/Education Intern), Children’s Stage Adventures (Actor/Educator), and the James Franco Acting and Film School (Voice and Speech Instructor), and during his time as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Florida, where he earned his MFA.
